History

VG Kunststofftechnik is among the pioneers of the rapidly growing market segment of Rapid Technologies in Germany. Dr. Ing. Volker Grießbach founded the company in April, 1990.

At that time, a children’s room was made into an office and the first manufacturing plant was installed in the cellar of a dilapidated tenement.

The tenement Huttenstr. 15 was bought in 1992 and rehabilitated. Since then, the market has been gradually built up, and we have invested in the latest technologies.

Today, VG Kunststofftechnik owns attractive facilities on Ludwig-Richter-Str. 38.

In manufacturing, modern and efficient plants are in operation, which have been constantly enhanced in quality through our own developmental achievements. With this acquired know-how, we have further expanded our leadership in the technology of stereolithography, laser sintering, and vacuum-casting of plastics.

Our team has gained a reputation for innovativeness and creativity, and we reliably attend to customers worldwide.
